Microsoft carefully evaluates all of its partners for quality of work, knowledge, experience, expertise, and customer satisfactions. Relatively few IT firms achieve Microsoft's Gold partner certification. The requirements include a minimum number of engineers who pass Microsoft's stringent certification exams, demonstration of competencies in specific technology areas, and excellent customer references.
